Position Summary: Business lead who will support the financial management system implementation with the Global Financials Control business area. This includes gathering and interpreting data requirements, research and analysis, business design, data mapping, partnering with technology to develop solutions, business process design and performing business testing. This position will be exposed to multiple data sources, Finance data consumers, Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset data consumers, and financial operations management.

The candidate must have strong relevant business acumen and financial analysis skills specifically with respect to analyzing very large datasets, identifying process and system issues and proposing remediation steps. Candidate should be a motivated self-starter that can operate with limited instruction with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication, organization skills, and solid presentations skills are a must.

Responsibilities include:
  • Interacting with end users to identify and clarify requirements
  • Leading portions of the project scope and/or major deliverables
  • Conduct deep dives, as needed, to understand business process and related requirements
  • Complete project documentation (i.e. business requirements document, functional specifications, users stories)
  • Create materials for reviews with regional/business leaders and Program leadership
  • Participate in design discussions, work closely with development team
  • Test planning, script writing, script review and test execution for waterfall and agile execution
  • Planning and execution of global end user acceptance testing
  • Audience analytics to understand dependencies within and external to assigned project scope
  • Conducting reconciliation on large amounts of data and utilizing technical tools and processes for reconciliation

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion implementation for Finance for a large banking/financial institution
  • 3+ years experience with General Ledger data.
  • 3+ years in Financial Services industry with knowledge of finance management system operations, such as Oracle, is a preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management & Technology, Computer Science etc.)
  • Experience working with reporting tools - OLAP, relational, and web based
  • Experience with leading projects
  • Experience with reconciling data and test planning and execution
  • Desired (but not Required) Skills:
  • General Ledger certification is preferred.
