Job Summary:The Consumer Banking PMO is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with a track record of success in complex and fast moving environments, collaborating with innovative partners and creative teams in waterfall and/or agile approaches and who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. Candidate should be a self-starter, eager to learn and continue to grow and develop professionally, able to multi-task, work extremely well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with large, multi-disciplined technology and business teams. As part of this team, you will be responsible for managing all activities and people associated with the delivery of medium to complex projects across community banking. The role may manage a program or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation, planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with high visibility projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and carry a substantial impact to the relevant businesses
  • Interacts with senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects
  • Execute end to-end program or project management using the Enterprise Methodologies, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization to reinforce and deliver on strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects
  • Creates and delivers presentations on program or project goals and plans, including progress reports
  • Potentially sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors

  • Ensures program/project-related risks are managed according to the Project Management Policy
  • To thrive in this fast-paced environment, the successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to learn rapidly and solve problems dynamically, excellent and insightful communication skills, high degree of initiative with a strong drive for results, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationship and agreements between partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation

Desired Qualifications:
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Ability to present to senior level executives
  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Vendor management experience

Other Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; expertise in communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Experience partnering with EIT and Risk
  • Familiarity with Community Bank strategies, businesses, functions and systems
  • Experience managing all aspects of a large budget
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring peers
  • Leadership, relationship building and management skills
  • Ability to work with others collaboratively for team success, team player with demonstrated success in leading, influencing, motivating and building strong internal/external business relationships in a heavily-matrixed organization
  • Actively planning and facilitating meetings to drive the implementation of projects
  • Experience in a formal project methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to draft documentation and utilize resources/research to assist in development of project artifacts and supporting materials
  • Experience presenting and facilitating meetings with senior management with strong oral and written presentation skills
  • Proven track record of leading medium to complex projects on time and on budget utilizing disciplined project management and organization skills
  • Ability to synthesize information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays that could impact delivery, and issues that pose material risk to the project or business
  • Ability to understand problems, identify solutions and develop clear options and recommendations
  • Reliable, results driven individual capable of completing tasks with little direction and oversight required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project and Visio
