3. Academic Support Teacher - Work with different ages 1st-8th grade as academic needs present.
Experienced teachers needed in a small private school - focus is teaching to the child - NOT to the test Hands-on and creative approaches necessary ! We are one step up from home-schooling yet have a traditional focus on organization and expectations of character.
Ability and desire to work within a workshop style as well as traditional instruction is required. We have academically able students who work well in a smaller environment. We require teachers who can provide structure and clear expectations, while also tapping in on each students learning style and needs. Understanding of ADD/ADHD and different learning styles required to work with our great students.
Small class sizes
Supportive, enthusiastic staff team
4 day week (M-Th) 8:30-3:30 (therefore 3/4 hour job) and First Friday of each month all school-field trips.
Possible flexible hours depending on fit.
Positive working environment
Must have teaching experience and/or license!
