Duration: 7 month contract

As a reputable company in the IT staffing industry, you can trust us to place you in the right position. We currently have an opportunity for an Engineer Support in Charlotte, NC. Skillset / Experience: Provide support to the Fabric Care Engineering team performing essential administrative duties not product design related such as: purchase of indirect materials and services, manage purchase orders system and process invoices for payment, manage inbound/outbound shipping, create reports to track engineering administration (expenditures per area/project/account type, etc., vacation control, travel calendar, calendar of events), support engineers on tracking component development status (Engineering Release Notice tracking), part approval status (PPAP), and prototype orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for creating Purchase Orders• Responsible for processing Invoices and tracking payment• Responsible for tracking Engineering drawing release and PPAP status for specific projects• Responsible for ordering prototype components and prototype tools to support engineering build: o Coordinate supplier selection working with M&E and Purchasing partners o Issue PO and track payment and delivery• Responsible for indirect material purchasing within R&D o Control and maintain office supply inventory o Purchase of test materials o Purchase of appliances for benchmark o Ordering of internally produced washers and dryers for test o Coordinate local purchases for best value o Establish preferred suppliers for key products & services o Track purchases & deliveries o Track and report expenditure• Responsible for engineering service contract o Coordinate supplier selection working with R&D and Purchasing partners o Coordinate Non-disclosure and other necessary agreements working with Legal partners o Issue PO and track payment and delivery• Responsible for inbound and outbound mailing and shipment process

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: • Bachelor degree strongly preferred (engineering or administration)• Minimum 3 years of experience providing administrative support and/or project support

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Microsoft Office knowledge is required (in particular use of Excel and PowerPoint) • AS400 System experience not essential but strongly preferred • Organization and ability to define and use tools for tracking and reporting activities and numbers • Understanding of processes and the overall product management flow • Purchasing experience not essential but strongly preferred• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization • Builds useful networks with key contacts internal as well as external• Excellent English verbal, writing and presentation skills
