  • We are building a new strategic data platform for NFRR (Non-Finance Regulatory Reporting). This is a new initiative focused on ADS enrichment, Orchestration, Data quality monitoring and regulatory reporting

About the Role:

As a Front End Senior Developer/Architect, you will lead the build out to elevate the digital experience of NFRR Client Facing Channels. This role is expected to contribute to the foundational design of NFRR Customer Journey roadmap and develop core (re-usable) UX framework components and data integration fabric for workflow collaboration and report intelligence related analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a SME (subject matter expert) for all front-end user experience and lead the development team in collaboration with the NFRR Architecture and Product Strategy.
  • Guide implementation of best practices for application design/development
  • Lead design and code reviews across NFRR technology stack ensuring alignment with NFRR Technology road map.
  • Lead, code, build, and test sophisticated digital experiences using CSS/Sass, HTML, JavaScript
  • Solve front-end engineering challenges including data fabric integration, data privacy standards and troubleshoot defects
  • Implement graceful, accessible, semantically correct, responsive front end that function properly across all major browsers and devices
  • Strong SCRUM/Agile work ethic - Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team, delivering demonstrable code in two-week increments
  • Ability to comprehensively unit tests your code
  • Contribute to a healthy and collaborative development team with a "Get it Done" work ethic
  • Proven ability to negotiate timeline and architecture across functional teams
  • Mentor junior team members

We are looking for candidates with:
  • 8-10 years of experience JavaScript Full stack role
  • Expert experience in developing React applications with Redux / Redux-Saga / MobX / Apollo-MobX / Immutable JS / Webpack
  • Good Understanding of micro services general patterns and practices
  • Experience in building and consuming REST APIs using NPM/Node.js Express and related frameworks (Jest, OpenAPI) and processing data (JSON)
  • Good understanding on NodeJS asynchronous runtime.
  • Good understanding on JS concepts on callbacks and closures.
  • Experience in debugging issues related to memory leaks.
  • Experience working with 3rd-party user control libraries such as Kendo UI
  • Experience in building isomorphic applications using React.js and Redux with GraphQL on server side
  • Good understanding of, Babel, ES6 and Typescript.
  • Experience in using NoSQL (MongoDB) data models document, key-value & wide column, or graph model is plus.
  • Expertise in performance profiling, ability to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations
  • Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; enjoys a collaborative environment
  • Flexible, self-starter & independent, fast-learner; willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and skills; desire to understand not only what to do but also why
  • Unit testing experience with tools like Jest, Karma and/or Jasmine
  • Experience CI/CD automation using tools such as Git/Jenkins/Ansible
