ROLE TITLE Network Operations LeadROLE LOCATION(S) 3 days a week onsite (Tues-Thurs) in one of the following locations:Purchase, NY; Florham Park, NJ; Charlotte, NCTEAM Infrastructure OperationsROLE SUMMARYProduction support lead for network operations, both incident and request/task.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operations lead for Network Production Support, including 8 plus offshore L1/L2 techs
- Administer, manage, and maintain all cisco routers, switches and firewalls as relates to break/fix and software updates
- Perform day to day network support tasks associated with moves, adds, changes and troubleshooting on network
- Daily maintenance as it relates to Client
- Maintain Netscaler Load balancers
- Manage firepower IPS and web filtering
- Troubleshooting for Lan/Wan alerts and issues
- Maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systems
- Perform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignments
- Perform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reporting
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Minimum 8 years of network operations experience
- CCNP is required
- Security concepts and fundamentals is required
- Cisco Nexus and Catalyst family and routers is required
- Packet capture and analysis experience is required
- Cisco Call Manager
- QOS
- ASA and Cisco IPS
- Cisco Client
- SDWAN
- Routing protocols - BGP
- Netscaler Load balancing
- Wireless experience preferred
- Strong documentation skills
- Leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer/IT or IS Engineering/Science
- Advance degrees or certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) a plus
