A direct client of Atrilogy Solutions Group is in search of a PLM Business Analyst to join their team in Charlotte, NC . Role: PLM Business Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC 28078 Duration: 6+ months Contract Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in PTC Windchill products
  • Have very good experience of PTC Windchill PDMLink (11.x and 12.x)
  • Functional experience in Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Change Management,
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Good understanding of PLM system, associated process like BOM Management, Part Management, EBOM, MBOM, Change Management, Requirements management, etc
  • Demonstrated detailed working knowledge of PTC's Windchill application suite and experience in the development and deployment of transformational business solutions.
  • Working with the business to translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications, and manage changes to the specifications
  • Maintain Technical Function peer relationships within our organizations.
  • Conduct process gap identification and analysis for PLM and adjoining processes.
  • Identify organizational change and help in management of the same for example: Roles, Training, and changes to procedures etc.,
  • Experience gathering Business requirements
  • Validation of Business requirements with Solution Design
Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing best-in-class solution delivery within the New Product Development organization and is responsible to lead requirements definition and build process workflows in the areas of Engineering PLM for both projects and support.
  • Manage relationships with multiple business units and partner with Engineering IT to develop a clear understanding of the current PLM and CAD offerings to optimize and realize the full potential of these tools.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, trainer, and perform the day to day tasks of managing users and answering questions.
  • Analyze, specify, & validate requirements to create workflows or user stories for communicating needs to Engineering IT (EIT) team.
  • Validate the business requirements with the EIT team
  • Understand the current PLM solution and have ability to review with the business team and provide clarifications
  • Conduct process gap identification and analysis for PLM and adjoining processes
  • Work with the process owners and IT to understand the business needs, priority, and expectations.
  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders to collaborate within the team.
  • Prepare functional specifications and business requirements through critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Conduct UAT along with supporting materials to ensure a successful release.
  • Provide clarification and remove ambiguity to scrum team regarding any stories or features.
  • Act as a data liaison and understand attribute mapping.
  • Support day to day needs of the PLM system and Users
