Job Title: Python Developer Location: Charlotte Rate: $55-$80/hour Duration: 12-18 month W2 contract ( NO C2C )

Position SummaryCollaborate with business and end users to understand the requirement and come up with the delivery plan. Analyze requirement and provide delivery estimates.Coordinate within the technology teams to resolve ongoing data related issues.Lead the data support and maintenance activities in lower lane environments and work with Application Support team to deliver adhoc data related requirements in Production.Design, develop and implement automation scripts for various types of data loads.Responsible for the successful execution of daily, monthly and quarterly data loads.Support production support team, investigate and provide resolution for ongoing data issues.Report status and progress on assigned and ongoing tasks.Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.Responsible for preparing and providing technical documentation.

Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; MS is a plus.3+ years of programming experience using Python5+ Years of IT experience with 3+ Years of relevant experience in developing ETL solutions in Hadoop & RDBMS technologies. Well versed with efficiently transferring bulk data between heterogenous data sources (Hadoop, RDBMS etc.)Good programming knowledge with Hadoop, HIVE, Spark, Unix, Shell Scripting, Relational Databases.Strong SQL writing background with RDBMS (SQL SERVER/Oracle) and Hadoop (Hive/Spark/Impala etc.)Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.Good understanding of agile development and continuous integration. Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements.Strong analytical ability, detail-oriented, independent problem solving, and excellent written and verbal communication.Proficiency in technical documentation, requirement analysis and user guidelines.
