Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible for developing and delivering complex Workforce Management and Symon RMG software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is deployed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Engineer is responsible to ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, and business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, performance); Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, and business) in design and development of client requirements. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release of vendor and Bank of America events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Individual contributor.

Required Skills
  • At least 5+ years' experience, with Work Force Management (IEX), Symon RMG, Avaya, Aspect and Genesys.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
  • Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, NICE RTI, Genesys WFM, Oracle SQL & HTML.
  • Understanding/experience with web application communication protocols - SOAP, HTTP, XML etc .
  • Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 2008/2012) with hands on experience in Windows .NET platform
  • Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge/expertise with JIRA, CRQ creation, MR2.
  • Willing and able to work in a 24 X 7 environment including after hours and weekend support to support multiple time zones.
  • Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task co-ordination.
  • Experience in Web technologies.
  • Experience in version control using Perforce/GIT or Subversion.
  • Proficient in using remedy and CRQ ( Change request) creation.
  • Able to work on Databases: Query and updates .
  • Computer networking skills and working knowledge: Load balancers, firewall, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle UNIX and SQL .
  • Working knowledge of application setup, support, and configuration .
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) to document/communicate issues.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks and priorities with rapidly changing environment.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, able to work with little supervision and a responsible team-player.
  • Partnership and communications with internal customers and partner teams.
  • Should be able to lead and actively participate in conference calls with technical and business users .

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or comparable work experience is required.
