WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Work with Finance business process owners and relevant management stakeholders to support and optimize technology solutions related to Finance systems including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Cash Management
  • Provide estimates as required after good understanding of the business requirements and how the changes fit in with existing systems
  • Convert system designs and technical specifications into program code for moderately sized applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide guidance
  • Architect, develop, test, and maintain database software; comply with standards and processes related to producing quality software and documentation
  • Provide project manager with accurate status of assigned activities; escalate issues for timely resolution
  • Optimize/troubleshoot database code and correct as required
  • Provide support to resolve systems-related issues including periodic of hours on-call support
  • Work closely with the business client from inception to implementation

BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of IT industry work experience including finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle ERP applications
  • Excellent skills in developing use case models, process flow charts, functional documentation, interface requirements, and configuration content
  • Proficient in oracle financial area(s) covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Cash Management
  • Experience developing applications for Oracle databases using complex PL/SQL procedures and packages. Experience in large volume extract, transform and load solutions.
  • Hands on experience in building and maintaining Oracle flows/configurations
  • Experience and understanding of relational databases, data modeling, internet technologies, client/server architectures, structured development, and test methodologies
  • Familiarity with data validations and conversions for data migrations
