Our Accommodation Coordinator plays the integral role of providing customer service and administration support for day-to-day activities. We understand the importance and value of each employee related process, so we drive and improve the dedicated resources and programs that serve our people.BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs an Accommodation Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for processing claims and communicating accommodation options following written guidelines and procedures pursuant to ADA, state and/or Spectrum’s requirements. You will focus on reasonable accommodation administration. You’ll also be responsible for processing employee requests and associated transactions while maintaining Service Level Agreements by applying customer service satisfaction techniques with the efficient, timely and accurate use of resources. Informing employee of documentation required to process accommodation claims, required time frames, and claims status either by phone, written correspondence and/or claims system

Requesting medical information to determine if the employee meets the requirements under federal ADA, state, and/or Charter requirements for a qualifying condition

Demonstrating the highest degree of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues and routine HR questions

Updating the case management system with transaction specific information and supporting documentation

Achieving and maintaining expertise to navigate and accurately record information with several business systems/applications including HR data (PeopleSoft), case management tracking (HR Helpdesk) and vendor websites

Applying knowledge of HR programs, policies, Benefit plans, to quickly resolve customer issues or concerns

Being responsible for escalation of issues in a timely manner to ensure an effective end user experience while remaining engaged in resolving the issue

Managing time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction results and adherence to Service Level Agreements

You’ll serve as a primary point of contact for administration of accommodation claims; seldom are two days the same. Experience: Human resources experience 1-3 year(s)

Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field; or equivalent work experience

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word

Skills: High level of analytical and interpretive skills. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Can problem solve in a high volume production oriented environment. Can maintain confidentiality. Can work in a team environment

Travel Ability: Office work environment

Schedule: Must be able to work the hours between 8am-8pm EST, Monday-Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of leave of absence, FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA and workers’ compensation administration

Claims management experience
