Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Agile Product Owner for a contract role with one of our premier financial services clients in Charlotte, NC. RESPONSIBLITIES:- Manage the Utility roadmap to meet potential data users' business needs using value delivery approach, value-based prioritization, and informed by current and emerging technology trends
- Capture, document and groom user stories reflecting business requirements, including data persistence, transformation, standardization, lineage/ traceability, conformance and analytical reporting needs, and track completion to ensure stories are implemented in accordance to committed timelines
- Partner with key Business, Technology, Data Science, and Architecture leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to champion the capability vision, guiding principles, prioritized use cases/end user experiences, high-level requirements and roadmap
- Provide support and direction to scrum teams tasked with Product Delivery, to include refinement of business cases, tactical implementation strategies, change management and training strategies, and ongoing measurement of value delivery
- Capture and Articulate metric and measurement functions, to include business value (revenue gains, efficiency saves, etc.) and Agile performance (velocity, capacity, burn down)
- Identify opportunities to build new and enhance existing eligibility capabilities workflow, which include cross-product and cross-line of business features
- Prepare Executive-level Communication and Cross-organization socialization of Product scope, approach, solution, value drivers, and upcoming asks

- Expert level knowledge of Agile, product ownership, user-centric product development and delivery, and analytics platform development and delivery
- Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business requirements, policies, procedures and processes; Ability to balance short-term value delivery to the business with long-term efficiency and governance objective
- Experience with Banking, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies, and experience addressing data related requirements of internal stakeholders
- Experience with Marketing, marketing suppression and traits processes, credit data, and/or eligibility pre-qualification
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives
- Flexible and adaptable; Able to work in ambiguous situations; Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Track record of building real-time and batch data utilities carrying both on-US and off-US data; Knowledge of modern data technologies such as Kafka and Spark
- Experience with Cloud-first data architecture, such as Spring Cloud
- Experience with rules engines and rules development and governance
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
