Scrum MasterPosition SummaryThis Scrum Master will be a member of the Enterprise Data Management Team within the Chief Data Office supporting a multi-year transformational initiative. The individual should be a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to influence, build trusted relationships across the organization, deal constructively with conflict, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Act as key liaison across businesses, other agile teams, and the program team. Represents the team in ART Syncs and helps the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforces the agreements. Ensures the program has a healthy product backlog (in collaboration with the POs). Contributes to the successful implementation of assigned features by optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered. Requires working with Business Partners and application SMEs to identify and mitigate risk and execution of the delivery of end-to-end technology solutions. Must be able to manage to timelines and communicate feature status within the team but also with leadership and business partners. Works with the Agile Coach, RTE and Scrum Masters to improve the maturity of Agile processes across the organization. Coordinate agile ceremonies, manage dependencies for the team, provide visibility into team plans & progress, and enable continuous improvement within the team and organization. This role is responsible for coaching their team(s) on the work management tools and adherence to the enterprise change standards. Maintains project documentation and deliverables in accordance with Enterprise Change requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Acts as a Servant Leader & helps resolve team conflict • Coaches the Team to achieve Sprint Goals & Sprint timelines • Schedules, facilitates and coaches Agile routines and ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and PI Planning • Helps establish and support consistent reporting practices across the teams & foster a culture of continuous improvement • Works with Product Owners to establish and maintain Product/Story Roadmaps • Helps protect the development team from external requests during the Sprint work • Helps to remove or facilitate removal of impediments the team cannot resolve on their own • Works closely with other Scrum Masters to exchange best practices and help to continually improve the process • Drives maturity curve of agile adoption, partially based on company specific guidance i.e. SDM360 • Facilitates the creation and adoption of working agreements and definitions of ready / definition of done, including use of appropriate tools, standards and best practices • Facilitates and enables an environment of collaboration, innovation and creativity • Challenges and enables the team to continuously improve through intentional Lean and data driven inspect and adapt cyclesRequired Skills• Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts • Highly versed in various SDLC methodologies, including but not limited to Scrum, SAFe, Kanban • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Understands all aspects of PI Planning from preparation to execution • Strong knowledge and experience with functional analysis elicitation and documentation techniques such as Epic, Feature, and User Story documentation • Effective multi-task and management of priorities; Ability to juggle multiple demands and reprioritize as necessary to align with changing business objectives • Proficient at Agile Work Management tools i.e. JIRA, Agileview, Confluence • Deep Knowledge of Bank of America Enterprise Change Management Process • Facilitates dependency and risk management for the Scrum teams and the ART • Facilitates team and cross-team impediment removal for the team • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration within the Agile teams and across the ART to support value delivery and Sprint commitments • Provides visibility into the Agile teams delivery plans and Program Increment plans on the program level and to stakeholders • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experienceDesired Skills• SAFe SPC 5 certification is a plus • Enables the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement • Measures team delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities • Collaborates across the ART to create program level transparency, visibility and drive commitment • Able to adapt your approach and communication style to fit varying contexts and situational needs • Not afraid to raise issues and inspire change and continuous improvement • Guide others to deal with situations of conflict, ambiguity, and uncertainty • Promoting the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential • Application development or technical experience is a plusYears of experience required:2-5Top 3 required IT/Technical skill-sets:Jira, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office
