Job Description:

Successful applicant will be the key Business Analyst for the high visible projects in the Employee Experience Technology. Responsible for gathering requirements and translating them into stories with minimal guidance. Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira framework. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, time lines and support needed from them.

This team member will be the primary business analyst in the Talent Acquisition applications in the Employee Experience Portfolio.

  • Work closely with development teams and Product owner in ensuring the requirements are properly translated into technical details.
  • Lead the backlog refinement meetings to create stories based on Business priorities.
  • Ensure the functional test scripts are properly written adhering to the requirements in the stories.
  • Act as proxy product owner and perform quality assurance and user acceptance of stories during the course of sprint.
  • Constantly be on the lookout to improve the quality of the applications and deliver better value to the customers.
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes to get a complete big picture.
  • Provide recommendations for possible process changes to help optimize current procedures in support of maximizing outcomes.
  • Experience working in various lines of business with exposure to strategic product development.
  • Strong Jira or equivalent story board tool skills.
  • Familiarity with Bank of America Enterprise Change Standards, Policy and Tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.

Desired Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in analyzing and translating the raw business requirements into technical stories/use cases.
  • Strong experience in working with Agile Scrum teams.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
