Job Description

The Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Leading identification and implementation of automation and emerging technology solutions in Global Liquidity Management. Activities include partnering with LOB stakeholders to execute process simplification and implementation of various automation solutions.
  • Perform reporting, monitoring, and analytics in relation to liquidity submissions
  • Understand liquidity reporting rules and data requirements
  • Drive Opex Opportunities by challenging the utilization of Emerging technology solutions vs G T & O solutions with a longer time visions on stability and sustainability
  • Work with the stakeholders to redesign processes by identifying opportunities for the process to be enhanced through changes to people, process and technology
  • Educate Global Liquidity Management business process owners on automation /emerging technologies/Tech Capabilities and use cases to apply the technologies to solve business problems
  • Lead proof of concepts / pilots to test suitability of technologies in solving business problems
  • Drive the implementation of the solution across technology and business resources, identifying and eliminating roadblocks
  • Work across the broader GLM Horizontal and cross treasury teams to partner on opportunities to leverage and reuse solutions across common business processes
  • Communicate to senior stakeholders on progress, issues, and results
  • Summarize, create presentations, and present initiative-specific key findings, performance, and recommendations to Opex Leads.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field such as Engineering, Math/Statistics, or Computer Science or a related analytical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4+ years of working experience in process simplification and automation and/or related areas along with financial analyst type experience with a financial institution (e.g. Treasury, Risk, Operations, Finance)
  • Extensive experience implementing end-to-end complex business analytics solutions utilizing in-house technology analytics platforms as well as emerging technology software's including Tableau, Alteryx and SQL
  • Having exposure to systems and processes and software development would be a value-add in.
  • Experience understanding business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing technology solutions to remediate inefficiencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Brings creative ideas and facilitates effective brainstorming
  • Organized and able to work on multiples tasks with limited supervision
  • Ability to lead/facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders/support partners
  • Solid work ethic and willingness to take on new initiatives
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information, verbally and in senior and executive-level presentations

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting in a consistent manner
  • Experience in Corporate Treasury, ideally with a financial institution
  • Experience in Global Markets and/or Line of Business Experience
  • Experience in regulatory reporting
  • Experience at Bank of America (knowledge of the enterprise
  • Ability to navigate complex data environments and manipulate large data sets.

Nice to Have:

  • Designing tables and assessing relationships of database systems, including performance tuning, database design, and data models, using Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access and/or IBM DB2
