Title: Business Process Analyst - Policy & Procedures (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Overview: The Procedures and Policy Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, mapping, documenting, publishing, and maintaining the online loan servicing policies and procedures manual and reference material. The P&P business analyst interacts with subject matter experts in all divisions to identify procedural inconsistencies and inefficiencies both intra- and interdepartmentally. Candidates need to have excellent writing skills, with a Project Manager and English Major background.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Gather, assess, and confirm interpretation of new and/or changing policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the online policies and procedures manual using specialized software and internally developed process.
  • Maintain open communication with departmental points of contact to monitor the effectiveness of existing policy and procedure documentation and to ensure the P&P team is kept abreast of procedural changes.
  • Provide Instructional Designers / Trainers updates to ensure instructional material is being developed from the most current Policies and Procedures.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the Policies and Procedures reference material in an online environment.
  • Identify inefficiencies by monitoring changes in procedure and coordinating cross-functional audits to provide support for the streamlining of business practices as they relate to policies and procedures.
  • Create policies and procedures consistent with and resulting from regulatory, compliance, and legal changes.
  • Work with business unit contacts to ensure such updates made and approved within compliant timeframes.

Mandatory Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent related business experience required o Mortgage banking or financial services experience highly desired
  • A comfort level working with changing technology and software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required, especially Word and Excel
  • Technical/business writing and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to work independently o Ability to handle strict deadlines and the pressures of working with others on complicated deliverables
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
  • Must be able to document business processes in Visio, thinking through upstream and downstream impacts.

Conditions of Work: Minimal travel to other servicing sites as needed. Job largely consists of computer and personal interaction in a typical office setting.
