job summary:

Summary

The Control room shift manager, responsibilities include:

  • 1. Disseminating information to and from all interfacing / impacted parties
  • 2. Monitoring overall progress against plans (testing and deployment checklists, milestones, etc. across all phases of testing)
  • 3. Assisting the Issue Trackers with notifying and pulling impacted parties into applicable discussions on the bridgeline
  • 5. Manage communications between the CR and all involved parties
  • 6. Conduct status calls (as required) during shifts
  • 7. Ensuring a smooth transition between shifts
  • 8. Conducting shift debriefs with incoming CR Manager, reviewing all issues
  • 9. Coordinate and approve resquest from other teams
  • 10. Ensure proper coordination over all mail in and out of the CR (overseeing the mailbox manager)
  • 11. Updating meeting minutes
  • 12. Managing / overseeing all virtual communications on the SharePoint
  • 13. Manage issues, assignment of issues and oversee issues to be logged by issue tracker (logs them if no issue tracker on shift)
  • 14. Coordination of environment calls / update environment request SharePoint
