Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Controls w/ Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Excel for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

3 Must Have Qualifications

1. Data mining via multiple database management tools including Oracle, Tableau, Alteryx. 3-5 yrs 2. Self-starter, strong relationship building skills, ability to adapt to change and independent thinking/problem solving 3. Detail and deadline oriented with strong analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • Works with product Data Stewards as well as other stakeholders to complete data controls, track issues to resolution and gather business requirements for potential automation; looking for forward thinker with ability to simplify and improve existing processes
  • Develop processes & queries to confirm application processes are working as per the requirements
  • Generate daily reports on data quality breaks and data validation shifts outside of business as usual thresholds per business or data requirements
  • Validates data and signs off on reports within test environments to confirm Business Intelligence tool accuracy, functionality and EDM Standards are met
  • Monitors technical and data issues within Business Intelligence tools and manages issue resolution and escalation, ensuring that data controls are fit for use
  • Communicates status to stakeholders and escalates issues according to defined process, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, Engineering
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced skills with Business Intelligence tools Alteryx and Tableau
  • Strong understanding and familiarity with SQL, building and enhancing existing queries
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate, track and organize all written and verbal communications and prioritize accordingly
  • Understands concepts and application of Business Intelligence tools, demonstrates understanding of relationship between data and business rules and functions.
  • A demonstrated history of strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence across diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to balance strategic and tactical solutions, and to drive technology initiatives
  • Process design and data/financial analysis skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Desired Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience analyzing and reporting large datasets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • SQL & Microsoft Visual Basic for Application experience
  • Ideal candidate should have a general comprehension of the bank products
  • Must have strong analytical skills and have experience working across multiple applications
  • Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues
