DTS is looking for Delivery Manager

for

our direct client in Charlotte, NC

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform as the primary release engineer assigned to a release or program
  • Work with application development teams on enforcing source control strategies, building, packaging and deploying Digital products
  • Debug build and deploy failures, coordinating with developers and testers to resolve related issues
  • Develop scripts and automation used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms and applications
  • Create Change Requests (CRs) to ensure compliance with enterprise change policy
  • Determine the scope and schedule of the release and ensure there is visibility across all participants and stakeholders
  • Ensure that the release entry and exit gating criteria are met—automating as much of the release gating as possible
  • Communicate release status to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Lead or participate in defect triage and work with project team/vendors to resolve prioritized defect fixes
  • Identify and manage project issues/risks to closure and provide proper visibility to stakeholders
  • Maintain a release repository with key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or delivery
  • Strong familiarity with modern SDLC concepts (gitflow, automation, etc.)
  • Ability to work autonomously, solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to software development
  • Ability to think critically and develop high quality project deliverables and ensure technology solutions meets requirements
  • Knowledge of the Agile software development process
  • Experience working with Public Cloud Environments (ideally AWS and its admin console)
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate and build consensus with various stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Analytical approach; strong problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Enterprise Change Management (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with Gitlab and its CI runners
  • Experience deploying code via Jenkins is a plus
  • AWS certification is a plus
