Imagine, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering sourcing team. You will collaborate across Honeywell Intelligrated engineering teams and cost/estimating teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and be a coach and mentor to less experienced engineers. You will lead RFQ and RFP processes with suppliers for our electrical buyouts sourcing team, ultimately making sourcing decisions with our buyouts sourcing category teams. Key Responsibilities · Analyze Designs · Design Engineering · Design Interpretation · Test Products · Failure Analysis · Documentation Preparation · Requirements & Architecture Definition · Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships · Align with Site Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses · Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes · Apply effective Sourcing supplier risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuity YOU MUST HAVE · Bachelors DegreeWE VALUE· Degree in electrical engineering or other related field· Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.· Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.· Demonstrated experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, etc.)· Demonstrated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)· Demonstrated extra-curricular/leadership experience.
