Position Summary

The Bank of America Global Wealth Management Technology team is looking for an experienced ReactJS UI Feature Lead/ Developer. The position will have the following responsibilities: Developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.

Ensuring software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

Coding solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.

Responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. Other technologies used: Open Shift Containers (Private Cloud).

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar related degree.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring Software Engineers/ Developers.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience working as a React JS developer.
  • Good understanding of, Babel, ES6 and Typescript.
  • Experience on working with NodeJS.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control.
  • Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment.
  • Very good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with web services, RestAPIs and microservice based architecture.
  • Strong ability to work independently and meet goals/ deadlines with minimal direction/ guidance.

Desired Skills

  • Database experience/ skills in Oracle helpful but not required
  • Financial Services industry experience.
  • Current or previous Bank of America experience strongly preferred but not required.
