Job Description:

Seeking an experienced IT Feature Lead professional, who will drive strategy and development work streams for the Enterprise Settlement Technology team at Bank of America at the Charlotte, NC site.As a Feature Lead, you will be a part of a team of developers delivering in an Agile environment.You will be expected to work directly with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and design/deliver complex solutions.The ideal candidate for this job should have strong experience in development and can provide guidance to more junior developers.

Key responsibilities include:

·Rapid architecture, design, and implementation of complex solutions

·Providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions

·Modernizing and transforming existing applications according to enterprise defined technology stack and standards

·Reviewing design, code, and unit testing to ensure quality, best practices, coverage, and delivery of all features/requirements

·Applying enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality

·Ensuring solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

·Acting as a liaison for production activities/issues

Required Skills
  • At least 5 years' experience in analysis, design, and development of complex applications
  • Experience with Web services and batch development
  • Ability to investigate and recommend best practices and process improvements
  • Detail oriented and able to debug complex errors
  • Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and multitask effectively
  • Understanding and has practiced Agile Methodology
  • Experience working in a scalable and high-availability real-time environment processing large volumes
  • Ability to document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
  • Can adhere to team delivery/release process and cadence pertaining to code deployment and releases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Possesses good analytic skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and tools

Desired Skills
  • Experience with Retail, Banking and Financial domains with expertise in payment processing
  • Knowledge of clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and accounting
  • Experience working in a regulated financial institution
  • Experience with JIRA
