Job Description:

Role Summary: The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Product and Service Manager is responsible for the business management of our client facing IAM services as well as the acquisition and lifecycle of all related vendor tools and technologies required to maintain the service. This role works closely with vendors such as HashiCorp and IBM on the acquisition and lifecycle management of products in the portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for service financials including chargeback, volumes, budgeting and invoice approval processing. The Product Manager will be responsible for the product and service and will develop roadmaps by working with engineering and customers on future service enhancements.

Responsibilities:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Product & Service Manager is responsible for the business management of our customer facing IAM services as well as the acquisition and lifecycle of all related vendor tools and technologies required to maintain the service.

The product manager should have a good understanding of IAM technologies, specifically HashiCorp Vault or IBM Secret Server, and will work closely with the engineering, operational and application teams on these technologies. This role will manage the product and service lifecycle and is responsible for developing roadmaps by working with the application teams that utilize the services as well as the vendors and engineering teams who do technical development. Additionally, product managers are responsible for all service related financials including invoice processes, service chargebacks, benchmarking and the execution of financial approvals. Candidate must be comfortable presenting technical and financial materials across multiple business silos. This includes procurement, legal, finance, engineering and operations. While it is important to have a strong working knowledge of the product space this role does not require hands on technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have worked closely with IAM technologies, but is also interested in the business side of managing technology.

Required Skills:
  • 3 or more years of professional experience with Identity and Access Management
  • 1 or more years of professional experience with password vaulting tools
  • Experience managing software lifecycles including vendor end of support, product upgrades and version management

Desired Skills:
  • HashiCorp Vault and/ or IBM Secret Server is highly desirable
  • Managing service enhancements and roadmaps
  • Previous experience managing and enterprise technology service offering
  • Strong desire to focus on the business side of technology with daily management of database product financials.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent Spreadsheet (Excel) and Presentation (PowerPoint) skills
  • Acquisition of software and management of large software commercial agreements
  • Budgeting, forecasting and business case development for software. Vendor negotiations
  • Managing software licenses
  • Managing executive briefings with vendors
  • Vendor contracts and procurement processes
  • Understanding of the financial services industry
  • Experience working with technology sales teams
  • Vendor management and vendor compliance
  • Experience presenting technical material to executives
