This role can sit remotely anywhere in the US but will require occassional travel to Charlotte, NCAs a ITSM Senior Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:- Manage and maintain the implementation and use of the BMC Remedy Helix module for Assets
- Leverage CMDB information, and Discovery information to address gaps in Assets
- Provide ITIL guidance and best practices for various aspects of IT Service Management
- Oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology related hardware
- Plan, monitor, record software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
- Assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend
- Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles
- 5+ years related experience is required
- ITIL certified
- Experience with CMDB and Asset management software (Remedy Helix preferred)
- An understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Problem Management integrate with the management of Assets
- Experience with classification of Technology assets and asset types
- Takes ownership of the timely delivery of work assigned at high quality standards
- Likes change and can adapt easily to changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Has high organizational and planning ability
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and all types of customers (both technical and non-technical personnel)
- Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
- Works well as a member of a team, shares knowledge and consults with others for best solutions
- Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
