Job Summary

Compass Group Technology is looking for a ITSM Senior Functional Analyst in Asset Management to join our team. This role can sit remotely anywhere in the US but will require occassional travel to Charlotte, NC

As a ITSM Senior Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Manage and maintain the implementation and use of the BMC Remedy Helix module for Assets
  • Leverage CMDB information, and Discovery information to address gaps in Assets
  • Provide ITIL guidance and best practices for various aspects of IT Service Management
  • Oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology related hardware
  • Plan, monitor, record software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
  • Assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend
  • Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years related experience is required
  • ITIL certified
  • Experience with CMDB and Asset management software (Remedy Helix preferred)
  • An understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Problem Management integrate with the management of Assets
  • Experience with classification of Technology assets and asset types
  • Takes ownership of the timely delivery of work assigned at high quality standards
  • Likes change and can adapt easily to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Has high organizational and planning ability
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and all types of customers (both technical and non-technical personnel)
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
  • Works well as a member of a team, shares knowledge and consults with others for best solutions
  • Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
  • Customer sensitive and results oriented
  • Is able see the big picture and define success by a client satisfaction result, not best individual efforts
