Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Work closely with project and other business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, and release software in a timely fashion
  • Be adaptive and strike a good balance between speed and efficiency
  • Develop a deep understanding of the system, write technical specifications, enforce coding standards
  • Designs, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Contribute in change control policies, software builds, deployment strategies, code reviews and software recommendations
  • Take part in agile ceremonies to estimate and execute programming projects
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automation.
  • Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones
  • Responsible for the full life cycles of Java Applications, from research and analysis to design and execution

Skills:
  • Experience in

    Java, J2EE, Spring, HTML, CSS, Javascript, React.Js, Node.js, SOAP, REST
  • Experience in

    Spring, Hybernate, React.Js, Angular 2.0 and above.
  • Proficient in developing

    web applications using Struts/Spring/Hibernate/J2EE framework.
  • Software

    design patterns, J2EE components (EJB, JSP, Servlets) and XML
  • Proficient in designing and developing

    web services both REST and SOAP
  • Experience in

    WebFocus tool.
  • Proficient in understanding and applying the Object oriented and J2EE design patterns
  • Good understanding of

    XML & JSON standards and protocols
  • Should be good at exceptional handling and logging, debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Business domain knowledge in Finance is plus
  • Good Communication Skills Adaptable to new technologies
