About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join the Home Lending Business Control Management Team.In this role, you will:Leader of Issues management policy and procedure updates partnered with Business Excellence and the Group Issue Management team

Develop issue management consistency across sub-lines of business

Key leader aligned the Consumer Lending Issue Management team as well as the Enterprise Central Control Team

Key SME who understands the system of record, is the key point of contact for Veritas and its implementation

Leads IM change initiatives

Key point of contact for Remediation

Key Leader aligned to HL Front Line Issue Verification and provides updates to leadership regarding the program

Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact

Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area

Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies

Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls

Assess Enterprise Issue Management Policy changes and drive implementation

Lead special projects related to issues management

Required Qualifications, US:5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Strong experience with Issue Management, Financial Controls and Risk

Strong experience in leading and managing projects and process improvement initiatives with high risk, complexity, and aggressive timelines

Knowledge and understanding of customer remediation policy and procedures

Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

Strong experience preparing and presenting material to multiple levels of management and decision makers in a professional and confident manner

Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact and lead discussions comfortably with senior levels of management and regulators

Strong knowledge and understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type

Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Knowledge and understanding of financial services: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures

Proven relationship-building skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end to end risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes

Ability to lead credible challenge to the business and adapt quickly through research and analysis

Home Lending Experience

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools to find information

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

A BS/BA degree or higher

Job Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
