About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Institutional Investment Operations Specialist within the Cash Projection team as part of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.The Funding Projection team provides intraday cash and collateral projections to the traders in both Charlotte and London. In addition to forecasting cash and collateral balances and movements, the team produces reporting associated with intraday liquidity for CMLM, Corporate Treasury, and other internal business partners.In this role, you will:
Prepare and validate multi-currency and multi-correspondent bank cash projections for utilization by the Front Office to secure necessary funding
Ensuring that all Front Office projection related inquiries are tracked and responded to expediently
Performing ad hoc reconciliations and data analysis as needed for reporting to internal business partners
Liaising with various operational support groups and trading desks to escalate and resolve conflicts in a timely manner, drive process improvements and support business initiatives
Identify opportunities for optimization as well as proposing and implementing solutions to enhance processes, mitigate risk, reduce cost, and increase efficiency
Evaluating current and future needs, and communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders and technology partners to develop strategic solutions
Influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Cash Projection experience
Working knowledge of Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan and Tri-Party operations
FINRA series 99 or 7 license preferred
Effective organizational and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred experience processing in Broadridge applications such as BPS, Gloss and Impact
Job Expectations:
