- Four plus years of networking experience.
- Experience in the installation of cabling associated with: Telecom Systems, TCP/IP Networks, CCTV Security, Access Control and Wireless Solutions.
- Devise, plan, deploy, and improve networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, system engineering, and network architects.
- Installing, configuring and supporting of network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, Access Points, and WAN accelerators.
- Procuring of network equipment, security firewalls and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Design, and work with vendor on structured cabling, fiber, coper and low voltage structured cabling.
- Perform ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting of the Network.
- Plan, execute the scheduled upgrades, and patching.
- Network troubleshooting and performance improvement.
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
- An analytical mind and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Effective time management skills.
- An ability to follow processes.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Sound communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Willing to travel up to 50%.
- Computer software/computer systems engineering
