Piper Companies is currently seeking a
Network Systems Engineer to join a leading technology communications provider that helps build, manage, protect, and support clients critical IT and Unified Communications infrastructure. The Network Systems Engineer will help build, manage, and protect customers' critical voice, data, and cloud-based infrastructures. Responsibilities of the Network Systems Engineer include:- Responsible for providing resolution to network, operating systems and application problems as well as extending client's current networks to accommodate growth.
- Implement new equipment from their partners and vendors and recommend resolution to technology challenges that arise.
- Advise with clients to improve infrastructure and security in support of scalable growth
- Manage all IT processes: assessment, design, implementation, optimization, and follow up
- Advanced experience with network topologies, engineering, monitoring/management, network security fundamentals, and cloud-based technologies are all a must to the success of this role.
- At least one year practical experience using Foritgate, Fortiswitch, FortiAP, and FortiAnalyzer/Manager
- Virtual Technologies: VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Network Security and Firewall Technologie
- NSE4 Certification a plus
- Salary Range: OTE$155,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
