RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Charlotte NC or Minneapolis, MN. This position will be hybrid (2 days remote/3 days onsite).
Responsibilities: In this role, the Oracle PL/SQL Developer provides application design, utilizing a solid understanding of application technology, tools, and designs Analyzes highly complex business requirements Verifies developed code against business requirements Prepares code for production implementation following all SDLC standards within the EIT organization Develops new and maintains older documentation The Oracle PL/SQL Developer performs UNIT, System Integration and assists the line of business with UAT testingREQUIREMENTS: 7+ years of application development and implementation experience in the Financial Industry 7+ years of application development experience using PL/SQL in an ORACLE DB environment 5+ years of experience working on vendor applications on a WIN O/S and Oracle DB Proficient in PERL and Python Understands the SDLC framework Has worked on an Agile team Exposure or has working knowledge of Cloud technologies Ability to partner with others on the team or work independently Solid verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to write technical specifications (i.e., Functional System Designs) and other system documentation Ability to design/redesign computer applications and develops codes to solve highly complex business problems Experience with development tools such as TOAD/SQL Developer to aid in application development and testing Experience with code repositories such as GitHub or similar source code management systems Experience working with members of the business team on understanding requirements and assisting with testing Experience working with AUTOSYS job scheduling Solid understanding of creating new jobs and modifying existing ones Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues as needed Ability to work limited weekends or nights as needed for project implementationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
