Nice-to-have: IBM Support Assistant Workbench tools IBM PMAT (Pattern Modeling and Analysis Tool) IBM TM DA (Thread and Monitor Dump Analyzer) IBM Memory Analyzer CA Virtualize / iTKO LISA IBM MQ Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD , Cassandra , DevCenter OpsCenter WireShark or comparable network packet analysis tool

Technical Skills: • Performance Testing Execution: o Encapsulates Planning, Modeling, Scripting, Testing, Monitoring, Results Analysis, Results Documentation and Communication o Critical scripting protocols: HHP/S, Web Services, TruClient Performance Engineering / Troubleshooting

- including but not limited to: Evaluating and diagnosing system health and welfare (and issues) via use of Monitoring, APM, Diagnostics, and other performance and monitoring tools Analysis capabilities across the technology stack (web server, application server / JVM, application, container, VM, host, network, database)

Bottleneck analysis Javacore / thread dump analysis Heap dump analysis (Garbage Collection) analysis Use of industry monitoring and APM/code profiling tools Root cause analysis/diagnosis

soft Skills: Total package (technical and leadership skills) - ie. "Performance Ninja" Superior common sense Quick on their feet (from identifying issues, to laying out next steps, driving resolution, communicating outcomes) Crisp communication in all facets (day-to-day hand-offs, partner interaction, executive communication, status reporting)

proactive & Driven: willing to assist where needed with all tasks does not wait to be told what to do does not cherry pick certain tasks like execution or scripting always thinking of ways to improve work, process, team understands the big picture and knows next Steps, What needs to be done, What to do in case we run into an unforeseen event multitasker
