The Platform Engineering Lead is a technologist with at least 7-10 years of information technology experience, with 3 years of financial services, and has worked in the agile development for 1-3 years. We are seeking a motivated and driven technologist with a proven track record with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and excellence

Required Experience:
  • Financial services experiencein Corporate / Wholesale Banking and/or Treasury / Cash Management
  • Application development knowledge and experience
  • Interpreting business needs and applying innovative technology solutions
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, basic project management skills and presentations skills
  • Experience with SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, and Waterfall)
  • Experience in application design construction, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience working with technical design process and models
  • Broad understanding of the payments architecture and performance requirements
  • About 10 years' experience in information technology, with 3+ years of financial services related experience.

Job Duties:
  • Led engineering functions in an agile environment
  • Represent Payments Technology in programs/initiatives
  • Financial services systems experiencein Corporate / Wholesale Banking and/or Treasury / Cash Management
  • Interpreting business requirements and technical solutions
  • Drive the success of the test effort, coordinating with application teams and other partners
  • Coordinate all partner team activities as they relate to the goal of defining the test plan. Holding frequent design, development, and execution and review/remediation checkpoints
  • Design metrics and frameworks for continuous improvement of engineering processes
  • Collaborate with regional teams to build better engineering talent and better release outcomes
  • Work effectively in a matrixed organization, with globally distributed stakeholders
  • Identify risks and issues. Communicate same, proactively offering responses
  • Collaborate. Express ideas and solutions, solicit feedback, work to implement the best ideas
