The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.The Process Engineering Manager 3 is responsible to manage a team of Engineers that support Home Lending Servicing and its transformation efforts. This leader will be responsible to understand current initiatives within Home Lending Servicing in addition to understanding the overall control environment. The successful candidate will work with the Executive leadership team in Servicing to evaluate, support and deliver initiatives that fulfill the organization's efforts to compete in the Home Lending industry.This person will manage a team of minimally 7 direct reports with a total team size of 35 FTE.Primary responsibilities include:Lead and manage a group of managers, engineers and represent the BPM engineering function to other partner groups such Well Fargo Technology, Consumer Lending Shared Services, Operations and Enterprise Risk & Controls, etc.

Delivering and supporting a message of continuous improvement within Home Lending supported by a record of process improvement.

Engage with Executive leaders to understand current priorities and partner on strategic initiatives and transformation activities.

Establish clear accountability on your team to ensure coverage of all Home Lending Servicing activities are represented by an Engineer.

Teach best techniques to your Engineering team with respect tools

Develop and execute a multiyear transformation strategy supporting the full range of business products, data and operations available.

Coach, motivate, develop, recognize, and mentor the engineering staff. Provide mentorship while developing future leaders.

Develop and nurture core competencies of engineering to ensure technical capabilities are built and that knowledge and experience are maintained.

Foster an automation culture in Consumer Lending and across Wells Fargo.

Stay on top of engineering trends and benchmarks in the industry. Benchmark against peers so Wells Fargo Consumer Lending consistently occupies leadership position in the industry.

Provide guidance, oversight, and resources in various stages of the engineering project lifecycle from conceptual design, detailed design, specification, implementation, trouble-shooting and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications15+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: process engineering, military (supply chain, analytics and/or engineering); or LEAN/Six Sigma Black belt and 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: process engineering, military (supply chain, analytics or engineering)

8+ years of management experience

Desired QualificationsBS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or physics

Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx

Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Analysis software such as Minitab

Facilitation skills such as Helix

Change Management skills such as Prosci/ADKAR

Knowledge and understanding of Rapid Process Automation software such as Blue Prism

LEAN/Six Sigma certification or Wells Fargo business process management endorsement

Financial services industry experience

Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment

Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems

Strong collaboration and partnering skills

8+ years of management experience

Experience managing BPM Suites such as iGrafx, ARIS, Mega, IBM Blueworks, or Pega

Other Desired QualificationsFamiliar with Process Architecture in a large Financial organization

Familiar with Agile tools like JIRA, CA Rally

Experience in Business Process Management practices

Understanding of reference architecture / taxonomies (e.g. ITIL, APQC-PCF, CoBiT)

Experience with enterprise capabilities & processes

Experience in object-oriented modeling & process decomposition

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
