Job Description:

Responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams. Coordinates and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team. Ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team. Acts as an Agile Coach, promoting and coaching the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential. Guides and coaches one or more teams on Scrum practices, and develops their understanding of Agile principles. Facilitates Scrum ceremonies i.e. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. In a Scaled Agile model, facilitates scaled planning for the team - e.g. Pre Planning/ Preparation, PI Planning Events - and represents the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs. Helps the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforces the agreements. Ensures the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO). Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments. Provides visibility into the Agile teams delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders. Enables the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including cross-skilling across the team. Measures team delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities. Mentors more junior Scrum Masters. Individual Contributor.

We are looking for looking for a talented and highly motivated project manager with distributed computing technologies experience or knowledge in Agile or Jira to help further develop an analytics platform. The right candidate will help deliver new analysis to the Risk Technology team under Enterprise Risk Testing Technology.

Role Overview:

Enterprise Independent Testing is a growing area across the Enterprise; our funding significantly increased 2021 to 2022. This position is required to enable management to meet the 2022 CFO Deliverables that include testing for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the Agile team and applying Scrum to achieve business value

• Facilitate Scrum routines and corresponding with management as needed

• Execute on Enterprise Change Management requirements

• Work with the Agile team to remove impediments

• Proficiency in using Jira for managing project deliverables

• Manage governance routines that daily/ weekly routines, tollgates, program increment preparation, updating project repositories and required documentation.

• Create, maintain and execute project plans

• Integrate with project, technology and business partners to manage the projects and be proactive in gathering status updates from partners, while minimizing impact

• Facilitate communication, influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners

• Establish and provide supporting documentation for governance routines

• Establish status templates and weekly status update routines

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years' experience in Agile; Project management experience
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and framework (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Ability to lead and influence team in adopting the Agile principles
  • Ability to ensure the correct use of Scrum process
  • Ability to manage complex project(s) simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable presentations / reports and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
  • High level of credibility with executives and business partners; demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision

Desired Skills:
  • High level understanding of BAC Enterprise Change Standards
  • Scrum Master Certification is preferred Experience with Scrum master, Agile, Jira
