Job Description:
Production Support team member for Global Banking applications.Responsibilities include:- Respond to requests for application support from business, operations, and interfacing application teams during oncall schedule.
- Manage incident resolution in production environments for assigned applications.
- Manage problem tracking and resolution in production environments for assigned applications.
- Support and perform change tasks per instructions from application teams in production environment.
- Schedule and Manage infrastructure maintenance activities for production environments.
- Unix/Linux operating system knowledge, including ability to navigate and execute commands on servers.
- Understanding of Oracle Database structure and ability to query data in Oracle Databases using SQL.
- Understanding of IBM Websphere MQ.
- Understanding of HTTP protocols and how to make API calls through HTTP.
- Ability to troubleshoot applications, reviewing application logs, data, and other tools applicable to the application.
- Understanding of Remedy Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management modules.
- Good written andverbal communication skills, able to summarize at abusiness level, a technical issue or problem.
