Senior Analyst-Systems Engineer

Job Description:

• Respond to requests for application support from business, operations, and interfacing application teams during oncall schedule.
• Manage incident resolution in production environments for assigned applications.
• Manage problem tracking and resolution in production environments for assigned applications.
• Support and perform change tasks per instructions from application teams in production environment.
• Schedule and Manage infrastructure maintenance activities for production environments.

• Unix/Linux operating system knowledge, including ability to navigate and execute commands on servers.
• Understanding of Oracle Database structure and ability to query data in Oracle Databases using SQL.
• Understanding of IBM Websphere MQ.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols and how to make API calls through HTTP.

• Ability to troubleshoot applications, reviewing application logs, data, and other tools applicable to the application.
• Understanding of Remedy Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management modules.
• Good written andverbal communication skills, able to summarize at abusiness level, a technical issue or problem.
