Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer/Sys. Admin Location: Remote Duration: 12-36 Months

  • the preferred skills we need to improve the team are certainly Azure DevOps Pipelining, Azure Support for infrastructure and architecture, some insight to .Net/C#
  • Senior Role Ability to manage the following facets without training (outside of training product line workflow/current configurations/environment).
Must haves:
  • Azure DevOps Create build/deployment pipelines for software, services and IAC. Using ARM/Terraform Templates and Yaml/classic pipelines.
  • Azure Architecture Understanding of core Azure Infrastructure and app services including App Services, Front Door, Application gateway, Load balancers, API Mgmt, NSGs,
  • Azure App Services and Infrastructure ability to troubleshoot app services (API/UIs) and infrastructure related issues.
  • Windows Server Role Install, configure and manage IIS
Nice to have:
  • Bitbucket/Bamboo experience Upcoming project will be migrating all bitbucket/bamboo architecture from Atlassian product line to Azure DevOps
Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer/Sys. Admin Immediate opening for Senior DevOps Engineer/Sys. Admin. This resource will be involved in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs. This individual needs to be able to work independently, be a team player, and have strong communication and customer service skills within a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment. Responsibilities Include:
  • Design and implement automated software, service, and infrastructure as code deliver
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and deployment automation, and support existing automated processes
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Analyze and troubleshoot escalated issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps Engineering and/or Systems or Application Administration
Requirements:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (including YAML Pipelines, IAC in ARM Templates)
  • Terraform a + as new product lines using terraform
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Architecture and Services (including API Gateway, Azure Front Door, App Services, Redis Cache)
  • Experience with Atlassian Product Line Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of CICD, and experience with tools to assist with Bamboo/Azure DevOps integration below (preferred):
  • SQL Automation
  • Testing using Jenkins or Azure Test (for integrating automated testing in Azure/Bamboo pipelines)
  • Proficiency in DevOps Operations-focused tasks, such as:
  • Requesting buildouts of architecture on building Windows Servers, configuring IIS, requesting Load balancer configs, Request DNS entries
  • Experience using analytic software New Relic and App Insights (strongly preferred), or experience with other relevant tools i.e., App Dynamics
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Knowledge of software security, coding and scripting, and testing skills
  • Experience with Windows Server OS, IIS, NodeJS, Visual Studio, MS Build, .NET, C#
