JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Digital Strategy Manager will serve as a liaison between Compass Digital Labs (CDL) and Executive level operators within the B&I sector. This position is also responsible to manage Digital Strategy Mangers within the business line, ensuring that the team performance, growth, and management meets or exceeds expectations.

This is a two-way communications path not only taking current Compass Digital Labs strategies to the above parties but feeding back requirements from clients and the business to the appropriate CDL teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to define and drive high level operational digital strategy
  • To be active in the new business sales and retention engagement process (e.g. RFP responses, presentations, demonstrations).
  • Act as an advocate for the business divisions using existing technological resources and solutions to improve the operational efficiencies and enhance the daily activities.
  • Identifies and leverages data to evolve existing or define new strategies
  • Professionally represents Compass Digital Labs, customers and potential customers, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Attendance at relevant business meetings (e.g. sector regional and divisional, zones and summits).
  • Document digital strategies
  • Lead and participate in technology summits for operations and clients
  • Participate in and support quarterly business reviews
  • Identify and Hire new candidates
  • Onboard and oversee training of Digital Strategy Managers
  • Manages and teaches direct reports to align with development strategy
  • Serve as the SPOC for Digital Strategy of a business sector relevant to CDL needs
  • Ensures team inclusion for key decision points
  • Resource of resolution to others, including cross functionally
  • Develops the ability to provide thought leadership on behalf of the team and brings forward ideas.
  • Takes responsibility for complex or important medium-term projects.
  • Initiates decision-making and influences across CDL.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years related experience in operations and/or technology
  • Proven success in digital marketing strategy experience strongly preferred
  • Food service or hospitality industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
  • Must be service-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong customer relationship and presentation skills
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Operational knowledge a benefit
  • Travel (approximately 30%) required as business needs arise
