Senior Front End Engineer

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join a growing team in the Charlotte, NC area for one of our credit solution clients. This individual will need to be proficient in understanding the value and risk at the business level. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with managers, stakeholders, customers, designers, testers and other developers to deliver whole systems according to the business needs. This person will be responsible for writing and producing clean, readable code. This person must have critical thinking skills and come up with plans to resolve technical debt. This individual should have a deep level of understanding of cloud computing and integrating multiple systems including designing systems to solve large or complex problems. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com .   To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/ .Skills and Requirements6-10 years experience as front end engineer or similar role Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Proven experience working with MERN stack In-depth knowledge of programming languages (quirks, strengths, weaknesses, when to use something else) Exposure with multiple languages and frameworks Must have experience building responsive web applications with one major frontend CSS3 framework and HTML 5 in your recent work history and examples to share Proficiency in HTML, CSS or JavaScript Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure) Experience with API development Lead the full software development life cycle (SDLC) for web, including analysis, design, coding, testing and support Strong understanding of responsive design principles and software design patterns with strong understanding of programmer fundamentals Experience with performance testing and optimization techniques Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Strong interpersonal and communications skills with leadership experience C# or .NET experience is preferred Angular experience Strong database design and management skills, experienced with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Web accessibility standards (WCAG 2) a plus Familiarity with performance tuning, usability, and accessibility improvements. Experience in Agile/Scrum development process. Leadership experience in engineering teams with both onshore and offshore presence. nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
