About this role:The Finance Risk Management (FRM) group within Corporate Risk oversees frontline risk activities of the Finance organization. Enterprise Finance's activities are critical to the financial risk management of the Company, including, but not limited to, setting and managing the capital and liquidity positions, executing CCAR, managing interest rate risk, balance sheet management, financial forecasting, line of business capital allocations, funds transfer pricing, and financial and regulatory reporting among others. Additionally, Enterprise Finance encompasses operational, compliance and reputational risk across the various activities. This newly created team is responsible for enhanced effectiveness of IRM oversight, creating streamlined IRM interaction with Enterprise Finance and a comprehensive view of risks across the Finance organization. The FRM team is led by the Finance Chief Risk Officer, reporting directly to the Company's Chief Risk Officer. The group regularly produces reporting for presentation to senior management, management-level committees, the Board of Directors and Regulators.Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant. This position is an individual contributor position that reports directly to the Manager of the CFMO (Corporate Functional Model Risk Oversight) team within FRM and your role will be to perform the CFMO activities and requirements for models assigned to you as defined by the Model Risk Management Policy. The FRM CFMO team is a team made up of 13 team members and covers roughly 360+ models in the Finance area from a CFMO perspective.In this role, you will:

Perform the Corporate Functional Model Oversight (CFMO) requirements as defined by Model Risk Management Policy for models assigned to you including: Risk Ranking approval, Performance Monitoring Plan approval, Performance results analysis, Model change management analysis, and model overlay analysis

Participate in CCAR/MYFA, 9 Quarter Forecast activities including running model challenge meetings, review model overlays, and preparing materials for leadership decks

Partner with Key Model stakeholders in helping manage overall model risk including: FRM Risk Officers, LOB Model Governance partners, CMOR validators, CMOR Governance, Model owners, other FRM CFMO's to discuss thematic modeling issues

Be assigned Finance Forecasting models, FTP models, and the potential of other models covered by the FRM CFMO team ( i.e. liquidity, ALM balance sheet, IP)

Participate in internal team projects as developed by leadership

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of the Wells Fargo Model Risk Management Policy

Working knowledge of the Wells Fargo CFMO procedures

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Experience with Finance Modeling

Experience partnering with varying levels of stakeholders across the organization

Ability to articulate model risk issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of management

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals

Ability to prepare presentations and management reporting
