RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC).
Responsibilities include: Manage the document repository systems to include system upgrades Monitors and troubleshoots access and performance issues Monitors faults, performance, and capacity issues, preparing remediation reports and documentation Uses ticketing system to document requests, track changes, and explain resolutions Ensures team documentation is accurate and maintained Providing expert advice and guidance on meta-data across the enterprise Facilitating search and discovery of data across the enterprise Maintaining the content and structure of data in the document repository Reviewing permissions on the files and folders to ensure compliance with policies and procedures Providing training on the document repository to the users Analyzing content for meta-data, providing recommendations for meta-data, and tagging dataREQUIREMENTS: Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (e.g., Server 2008R2, Server 2012R2, Server 2016) Experience with Document Management Systems (OpenText Content Server, SharePoint, or similar) Excellent verbal and written skills are paramount Excellent problem-solving abilities Experience with Windows Active Directory Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) along with badge access to the customer's facility Ability to obtain and maintain a network account in good standing on the customer's network Ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
