We're looking for a SharePoint Engineer to join our industry-leading client. In this role you will serve as a subject matter expert, point of escalation, and support for project planning related to SharePoint initiatives, upgrades, and migrations.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the SharePoint Engineer:- Install, configure, upgrade/update, and support multiple SharePoint 2016 farms
- Support disaster recovery and high availability planning, configuration, and testing
- Deploy and configure search, sites, lists, web parts, content types, and workflows
- Help PMs develop plans for SharePoint environment upgrades, initiatives, and migrations
- Help, coordinate, and evaluate third party tools for integration with SharePoint
- Automate tasks and provide custom reporting using PowerShell and other tools
- Support performance tuning and monitoring
- Create system documentation and SOPs
- Provide Tier 2/3 escalation and support (on-call)
- 7+ years of experience with SharePoint 2016/2019, Windows Sever 2012 R2/2016/2019, Active Directory / Azure AD, SQL Server, and IIS
- Experience troubleshooting complex SharePoint installations for authentication, performance, cross-farm services, and hybrid configuration
- Experience administering and troubleshooting SharePoint farms with PowerShell
- Experience planning and migrating from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online
- Experience planning and implementing SharePoint version upgrades
- Experience planning and implementing SharePoint hybrid solutions
- Strong project management skills
