Job Description:

  • Ability to create Informatica mapping and workflows for maximum performance, stability based on system resource
  • Design, develop, and test data processes per business requirements, following the development standards and best practices as well as participate in code peer reviews to ensure our applications comply with best practices
  • Responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions, and documenting processes and coding
  • Perform data analysis and data profiling against source systems and data warehouse
  • Design ETL processes using Informatica Power Center
  • Test solutions to validate whether requirements have been met
  • Provide end-user support in UAT and post-deployment phases; assess and evaluate all the feedback to ensure that the requirements necessary to correct issues are addresse
  • Understand, modify and explain code placed in various Informatica utilities
  • Establishes cost and time estimates for development and implementation of projects

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years Unix Shell Scripting

  • College graduate in Computer Science or related field

  • 7+ years in Informatica 10.x or later

  • 7+ years with Relational Databases - Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL Server 2012-2016

  • 7+ years writing Complex SQL Queries and performance tuning

  • 7+ years in Data Mapping, Data Modeling, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing/Mart

  • Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Solid understanding of the Agile processes, requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools /technologies, release/version control and deployment management

  • Full understanding of SQL, cardinality, levels of granularity, normalized vs de-normalized, handling of slowly changing dimensions, auditing, and optimizations techniques is required

Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years working with SSIS

  • Other BI Tools with Business Objects, ECM; Archival experience a plus

  • Strong leadership and analytical/design skills

  • Knowledge and experience with Hadoop

  • 4+ years interacting with the customers/business analysts in gathering requirements and independently able to design and deliver the Informatica Mappings

  • Experience working with offshore, co-ordination and oversight of deliverables

Enterprise Role Summary:

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Individual contributor.
