Sr Lead Project Portfolio Mgr ITThe Project/Program Management job supervises a team of experienced professional level employees and plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. This job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large, moderately complex projects for the organization. This job requires having or acquiring in depth knowledge of both messaging capabilities and supported business’ context. This individual is a member of the Messaging & Communication leadership team and will be working on the highest priority initiatives across TIAA as an enterprise. This job also sets policy and strategy for short-term goals, as well as goals and objectives for team members and provides coaching and feedback to help employees reach these goals.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for the delivery of M&C capabilities in support of all programs / themes in the strategic portfolio

Coordinate across peers in the M&C team leading delivery of capabilities for programs / themes in the CS&T and Regulatory / BAU portfolios of work

Coordinate with business partners and ARTs across the organization to align deliverables and ensure capabilities are available in time to enable business KPIs

Lead the Quality Assurance function for the M&C portfolio by helping to design and implement appropriate processes, structures, technologies and resources

Accountable for modernizing QA capabilities and improving test coverage & automation

Monitors the status of complex projects including cost, timing, staffing, and dependencies across multiple inter-related projects, as needed.

Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met, typically delegating responsibility to experienced professionals who have shown independence in prior assignments.

Implements an established project plan and supervises progress and performance against this plan.

Leads project meetings and approves regular reports that communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

Supervises the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of the team.

Serves as a liaison and builds bridges among cross-functional leadership teams.

Desired Skills

Prior experience with messaging, communications, or marketing

Prior experience with process improvement and transformational change

Expert level skills with data and process visualization tools like MS Visio

Undergraduate in Computer Science/Technology or related field

Prior experience as an RTE / Product Owner/Product Manager

Experience with managing people (Employees or CW’s)

7+yrs of experience in Project/Program Management

Base Pay Range: $119,500/yr. - $199,200/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
