job summary:
Summary:- Our client has a need for a seasoned SQL Engineer with Active Directory Knowledge. We are looking for an expert in SQL, with AD engineering experience, to assist us in the configuration, standardization and documentation of our SQL environment.
- Rewriting the SQL install scripts (possibly using SCCM)
- Creating SQL update scripts (possibly using SCCM)
- Writing and managing stored procs for automation
- Managing DR and maintenance configurations for all SQL instances
- Troubleshooting
- Performance Tuning
- Disaster Recovery
- Monitoring
- Query writing
- Creation, Documentation and Deployment of Baselines
- Recommending and instituting optimizations to the SQL infrastructure.
- Partnering with the Active Directory Operations team to implement changes to the Active Directory infrastructure.
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS, and T-SQL queries).
- PowerShell / SQL Integration
- Windows 2016, 2019
- Level of Experience Needed (highlight) At least 5 years design and architecture experience with a global SQL Environment
