Job Description:

Assists in the execution of the Data Delivery / Project Engagement horizontal for the GT DSME/DSE team. Will be responsible for delivering on data programs such as ADS Adoption, SIAI management and support, liaison with EDSG on Enterprise initiatives and requirements, support efforts to improve Data Strategies and maturing the support model for the GT FLUs and Domains. Will also support data-related programs that are aligned to the DSME/DSE. In many respects this role will be project-oriented with a focus on data programs, data initiatives and maturity the support model related to Enterprise Data Management. The candidate will partner with multiple stakeholders as needed, including Compliance, Audit, Operational Risk, DQCEs, and various Technology groups in GT&O.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years financial industry experience required preferably with Finance, Tech or Data role
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks; works in a self-directed manner and takes a proactive approach to job responsibilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience in performing data analysis tasks
  • Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills required
  • Spreadsheet skills, MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint, SharePoint

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Mgmt (EDM) Policy and Standards, or
  • Experience with Global Records Mgmt (GRM) Policy and Standards

Enterprise Role Summary:

A Senior Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring data products and services are serviceable and valuable to users. Key responsibilities include working with users and development teams to ensure the data is fit for purpose, defining and monitoring the processes and controls that adhere to EDM Standards, and helping to triage and remediate data incidents. This role assists users with data queries and metadata, performs data analysis to reveal business insights, communicates data changes, and provides training to users so they understand and can access the data they need. A Senior Data Analyst is an individual contributor at a program level. They will work with the users to ensure data is accurate, complete and fit for purpose. Performs data analysis and helps construct reports to answer business questions and reveal business insights. Guides changes to data capture processes and data transformation logic. Maintains an inventory of all applications and data transformation in the data flow for the domain. Contributes to the definition and maintenance of the domain dictionary. Performs impact analysis of data changes, proactively communicates to and trains users on the changes. Assists in the definition, stewardship, quality control, metadata and access of data owned by respective domain. Implements and monitors required transport controls and maintenance of all required metadata to comply with EDM Standards for the data domain. Helps triage and resolve data incidents for the domain across Capture, Transport and Use in a timely manner. Aligns and monitors key performance indicators and internal controls.
