Lowe's is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Sr. Director, Stores Data Products in our Technology organization. Reporting to the VP for Data Products, this role is a key member of the Data Products leadership team at Lowe's. Working closely with the Stores organization, the data platforms team and other technology teams, you'll lead a team of leaders, product managers, engineers, data scientists and analysts who are focused on delivering business value by creating data products, using machine learning and providing insights to hard questions. You will create and deliver a data products strategy in support of the Stores organization. This team is currently focused on solving problems such as workforce scheduling optimization, inventory shrink, on shelf availability and next gen scorecards that support more than 300,000 associates in our stores.

Responsibilities:

As, Sr Director for Stores Data Products, you will be responsible for:

• Creating value from out data assets through data science for the Stores domain.• Building data products (APIs, event streams, visualizations, full stack apps) that provide insights and intelligence in support of Stores use cases.• Moving the organization to solving technology problems with a machine learning first mind set.• Creating shared goals using the OKR framework, roadmaps and dependencies with business stakeholders and the rest of technology.• Prioritizing work to deliver the maximum value in a resource constrained environment.• Raising the bar on talent for product managers, engineers and data scientists on the team, and contributing to our culture by leading, coaching and developing our product, engineering and data teams.• Leading the efforts of a global team of engineers, data scientists and managers while raising the bar on talent by setting clear expectations, developing associates, managing performance and attracting exceptional talent.• Ensuring data is reliable, consistent, accessible, secure and available in a timely manner for external and internal stakeholders, and in accordance with privacy policies.• Adopting Lowe's architectural and platform best practices, and sharing new ideas and practices with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field• 12 years of experience in IT, product and/or experience management, or related business area• 5 years of experience managing teams and priorities across multiple stakeholders• Experience leading cross-functional projects with design, engineering, and analytics resources• Deep industry connections and the ability to attract top talent• 7 years of experience leading teams with direct report responsibility, including experience leading global technology teams• Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)• 5 years of experience in managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of third-party vendors and/or software providers

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in STEM • Contributions to opensource and/or patents• Experience in retail• Experience leading global teams
