Talent Acquisition Advisor/Consultant

Duration: 6 months w/ possible extensionPay Rate $42.50/hr w2

Qualifications:• Aligned to specific business units, the Talent Acquisition Advisor/Consultant will manage requisitions and serve as the main point of contact for hiring managers, candidates, and various HR colleagues.• Lead recruitment strategy calls with the hiring manager to understand the role requirements and keys to success as well as proactively investigating new ideas for innovative sourcing and screening strategies.• Integrate understanding of the competitive landscape and how it influences available talent and recommend investment in media postings where necessary.• Utilize strategic talent acquisition insights and customer service skills along with a keen ability to develop and cultivate partnerships.• Partner with sourcing and coordination resources to ensure timely execution of talent acquisition activities resulting in high quality talent delivered within defined metrics/goals. Responsible for taking initiative to develop relationships with various groups and organizations that will lead to sourcing talent.• Leverage knowledge of industries and roles with transferrable skill sets as well as information provided that will help managers to target diverse candidate pools that can both do the job as well as meet and exceed performance expectations.• Pre-qualify and short-list top talent using a performance-based qualifying lens and conduct pre-screenings to develop talent descriptions for presentation to hiring manager.• Apply prior recruiting experience to identify strategies and influence hiring managers to strike an appropriate balance between quality and speed.• Develop diverse pipelines to have candidates ready for reoccurring roles at manufacturing sites.• Contribute to additional talent acquisition projects as capacity and time permits.

Requirements:• Minimum 5 years of corporate recruiting experience with proficiency in enterprise-wide applicant tracking system (example – Taleo), CRM system (example – Avature), SAP, crafting offers within prescribed compensation parameters, MS Office applications and HR compliance as it relates to recruitment practices• BS degree required (4 years of additional relevant experience may be a substitute)• Experience reviewing applicant queues and ATS data mining• Ability to think logically and work independently with minimal direction• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Dynamic interpersonal skills and professional demeanor• Exceptional oral and written communication skills• Flexibility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Must be very assertive and persistent in obtaining information from various sources• Prior experience with background and drug/medical screenings, on-boarding, and orientation programs• Experience recruiting in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred If you are interested in this opportunity, please send me your resume asap to and I will call you right away!
