Job Title: Technical Product Owner Location: REMOTE Duration: 12-36 Months Need to take Online assessment and Sparkhire Video Recording Job Description Strong story development and product management experience. The TPO should have a background in software development and have been a developer at some point with:
- 10+ year experience in Product Leadership (tech lead, scrum master, PO, dev manager).
- The TPO should be experienced in agile, and be comfortable generating jira reports, documenting in confluence and modifying the boards in Jira. ADO boards experience is also highly desirable.
- I would expect the TPO to have CSPO or PSPO cert (preferred but not required). Safe agile cert. is also a big plus.
- Experience doing project estimation, resource management, and risk assessment are key in this role.
- Candidate must know how to say 'NO'. They need to have the ability to push back on unreasonable requests (sometimes stakeholders just don't know what is possible or not). Stand up, be bold.
- Makes decisions based on facts, and don't commit without a reasoned analysis of facts that strongly favor success
- They need to hold themselves and others accountable, drive to deliver, but with balance. They need to balance the desire of business for features with the need to manage technical debt and team morale.
- A strong focus on quality delivery, and quality processes
- Leaders welcome.
- Build and groom product backlog
- Experienced in Cloud technologies and thought leadership
- Coordinates product planning and support on larger highly complex projects
- Interpret requirements spanning highly complex, heterogenous solutions and distill them into stories that can be executed by the development team
- Work with dev team leaders to prioritize tech debt and internal projects versus business/external projects
- Ability to articulate to business stakeholders, clearly and directly, the tradeoffs for taking on more external projects versus paying down tech debt
