- 6 to 9 years of development experience with Strong SQL and Data Analysis
- Develop and design jobs and workflows to unload/load data into Teradata RDBMS using utilities like FASTLOAD, MLOAD, BTEQ, FASTXPORT, TPUMP, TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter), Informatica and Teradata SQL Assistant.
- Solid experience in Teradata stored procedures, macros, and functions Very strong in writing SQL, code reviews, and performance tuning techniques
- Experience in ETL using Teradata Utilities in a Windows/Unix/Linux environment
- Exposure to performance tuning within a Teradata environment.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting and understanding shell scripts
- Proficient in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs
- Knowledge of BI, Data Warehousing and Teradata architecture is a plus
- Understanding of data analytics principles and reporting tools would be an advantage
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- Strong Communication, Articulation, Analytical Skills
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders including management
- Collaborating closely with business users and PMO to review requirements.
- Develop, recommend and discuss technical designs that meet those requirements.
- Analyzing, documenting, and performing system configuration and setup as well as integration and system testing.
- Troubleshooting issues with existing systems and resolve. Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
