Job Role & Responsibilities:
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in implementing ELT solutions in the Teradata environment.
- Requires strong ability to write/interpret/tuning/debug complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- At least 3 years of experience in ETL Development Spark / Java (preferred) and Python.
- 3+ years experience in Big Data technologies, Distributed Multi-tier Application Development, Database Design, Data processing, and Data Warehouse.
- Experience in migrating at least one application/data from on-prem to Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Strong data profiling, data analysis, and data validation skills.
- Deep DBMS experience on multiple platforms (incl. Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server).
- Advanced understanding of data warehousing ETL concepts (esp. change data capture).
- Working experience as an Agile developer and a good understanding of SDLC methodologies/guidelines.
- Experience in developing complex UNIX shell scripts.
- Experience with GitHub or similar source code versioning tools and coding standards.
- Experience with a scheduling tools such as Autosys or similar tools.
- Experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Experience in Banking Industry.
